Join us for a festive winter “crafter noon” where we’ll be making valentine’s themed crafts in the beautiful Surface Gallery. We’ll be making handmade cards with traditional wax seals (yes, you’ll pour and stamp it yourself!) and a set of candlesticks to paint and take home. Whether you come alone, with your honey, or a pal, you’re sure to enjoy this relaxed creative time meant for connection, conversation, and a little artistic play.

All materials provided, along with wine and sweets to enjoy while you craft. The adjacent Story Coffee Co. will also be open for those who prefer it.

With space limited to just 20 guests, this event is meant to feel personal, inspired, and unhurried.

This gathering is loosely inspired by Lunar New Year themes of renewal and forward momentum, but centered on accessible practices like yoga, tarot, and personal reflection and expression.

Hosted in the lovely space Rootbound: Art Salon, we’ll be led through a gentle yoga flow by Renee Mendieta accompanied by a sound bath by Parker Roe from 2:00-2:45. After that you’re encouraged to have your tarot read by intuitive energy healer Ivy Hill, and/or have your Aura read through photography by House of Aura. A communal art project also invites you to do some reflecting and intention setting around themes inspired by The Year of the Snake that is ending and The Year of the Horse that is beginning.
